Looking for fill-in coverage: I am a USAR Optometry Officer and have been recalled to Active Duty for a minimum of six months starting in October. I am currently practicing full scope Optometry at the Lutz office of Tampa Eye Clinic. If any association members would be interested in covering my office during my absence it would be of great assistance.

Special Olympics Florida has a program called Opening Eyes where we offer free eye exams to our athletes and are always looking for volunteers.

The Lighthouse for the Blind and Low Vision provides services to maximize independence for individuals with visual impairment. They organize the White Cane Walk annually each fall to raise awareness about vision impairment/blindness and where you can support their cause and get involved.
